About this policy and privacy contact

This Privacy Policy explains how AzScraper handles personal information when you visit our public website or use our dashboards, APIs, crawling, and tracking Services. AzScraper is the service brand; for privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

Information we collect

Account and sign-in information: email address, optional name, password hash, email-verification state, language preference, notification preferences, and account identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive profile information Google shares with us, such as your email address and name.

Workspace and service information: project names and settings, members and invitations, API-key metadata, search keywords, ASINs and URLs you submit, schedules, webhook endpoints and delivery metadata, API requests, crawl-job status, and resulting product or page data. Do not submit personal or sensitive information in crawl targets unless you have a lawful basis and authority to do so.

Billing and support information: credit balance and transaction records, checkout identifiers, purchase amount and currency, and messages you send to support. Creem processes payment details in its checkout; AzScraper stores transaction metadata needed to confirm purchases and maintain account records, not full payment-card numbers.

Technical and attribution information: basic request and security data, and referral-click information such as the referring code, IP address, and browser user-agent. On the public marketing website, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity collect website usage and interaction data only after you opt in to optional analytics.

How and why we use information

We use account, project, target, and result information to authenticate you, run the crawls and schedules you request, return or export results, operate webhooks, provide support, and maintain the Services. Where GDPR or similar law applies, these activities are generally necessary to perform our contract with you or take steps you request before entering a contract.

We use transaction records to process credit purchases, update balances, prevent duplicate credits, send receipts, and meet accounting or legal duties. We use service and security data to prevent abuse, diagnose problems, protect accounts, and improve reliability. Where required, we rely on consent for optional website analytics; otherwise, we rely only on a lawful basis available under the applicable law.

We send service emails such as verification, password-reset, and purchase-receipt messages. Optional change-alert email is sent only when enabled by the user. Job-completion and job-failure email notifications are currently disabled.

Cookies and analytics

The public website uses a language-preference cookie when you change language and a cookie to remember your optional analytics choice. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies to measure site visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, navigation, browser/device details, and approximate location inferred from network information. We do not use these tools for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Optional analytics are disabled unless you affirmatively select “Allow analytics.” You can reject analytics or change your choice at any time from Cookie Settings. Essential service storage and account authentication are separate from optional marketing-site analytics. See Cookie Settings for the current cookie categories and controls.

When information is shared

We share information with providers that help us run the Services, including hosting and infrastructure providers, database and queue providers, Google for sign-in and (only with analytics consent) Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (only with analytics consent), Creem for payment checkout, and Resend for email when that provider is configured. These providers receive only information needed for their role and process it under their own terms and privacy practices.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect people or the Services, or to enforce our agreements. If the business or its assets are reorganized or transferred, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

International processing

AzScraper and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where a law requires transfer safeguards, we will use a legally recognized transfer mechanism and provide information about it on request.

Retention

Crawl-job records, crawl results, product-tracking snapshots, keyword-ranking snapshots, change events, and webhook delivery logs are configured for a 30-day retention period. Referral-click records and short-interval analytics rollups are configured for 90 days. Database expiry runs asynchronously, so deletion may occur after the stated period.

Account, project, schedule, product-catalog, credit-transaction, audit, and longer-term aggregate records do not all have the same automatic expiry. We keep them while needed to provide the Services, maintain security and accounting records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them when appropriate. Product catalog information may be retained as a shared service dataset rather than as a user-owned crawl history.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including credential hashing, access controls, and secure service operations. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep passwords and API keys private and contact us promptly if you believe an account or key has been exposed.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to complain to a privacy regulator. California residents may have additional rights, including rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law allows or requires it. You can update your display name and preferences in the product; account deletion requests are handled through support.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders before it takes effect.
